Live United: Support United Way

4-H is just one of the many agencies in the community that is supported by our local Person County United Way. And, as one of the agencies, I can honestly say that we would not be able to do what we do without their support. Every dollar raised stays in this community and there are very few organizations and fundraisers that can say the same thing. During these hard economic times, it is easy to say “I don’t have the money” or “I support this other cause” but before you say either one of those things, think about that person that receives help from the Christian Help Center, those in the hospital that receive blankets from the Needleworkers, those kids that learn to read thank to books provided by the Partnership for Children, or those youth gaining life skills through 4-H or the Scouts program. These are just a few of the organizations that need your support. So, live united and give to your local United Way.
